Today we face the looming danger of our environment being destroyed. Slowly, but surely our environment is nearing destruction. As our cities grow larger, our environment declines. It’s like the Modern Age and Mother Nature cannot coexist. If we look at it from certain point of views, we can actually blame technology for destroying our environment. But that is not true. The blame is on us humans. We fail to preserve nature. Our greedy nature of ‘live today like there’s no tomorrow’ is the cause of our environment’s downfall. We keep using our natural resources too blindly. And in the near future, we will pay for it.

However, it is not too late to save our environment. Simple ways such as recycling, conserving water and electricity can help a great deal. Direct approaches like Urban Farming can be a significant and effective way to help the environment. Imagine planting seeds anywhere where sunlight can reach it. We can plant produce in our very own home. We can plant trees anywhere to help lower carbon dioxide in the air. If such simple steps are taken, then rest assured that the Modern Age and Mother Nature can finally coexist.
